This run is to help celebrate the Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) holiday that is celebrated in Mexico. Runners, Walkers and spectators are encouraged to paint their faces and dress for this event. Also Holloween costumes are welcome as well. Every Runner and Walker will receive a finisher’s medal, and awards will be given to the top 3 Male and female.
Event details and schedule
This will be the 6th annual Cinco k “Day of The dead” (Dia De Los Muertos) in the Cinco k series. This run will start at 6pm to allow workers to have time to be their. This is a cultural experience and there will be displays inside the Anderson Enrichment center for you and your family to learn more about this Mexican Holiday. Face painting is encouraged and there will be awards given out to the best costume for those that would like to where there Halloween costume one more time.
